Here at County Line we believe in the importance of fasting. That is why on the first Monday of every month we Fast and Pray over selected topics.

God wants us to learn dependence upon Him. He has also chosen to act through the prayers of His people. Fasting is a spiritual discipline that heightens our feeling of dependence upon God. When we feel the temptation to indulge from whatever it is we are fasting from, it reminds us to go to prayer rather than satisfying our own desires. Fasting is a wonderful way to experience true dependence upon God and His wisdom and strength.

July Topics

1. Pray that God would work through our July sermon series, Let's Talk About It, as we tackle several important issues facing our culture and learn how to approach them from a biblical perspective.

2. Please pray for our Impact Team serving at Village of Hope in Guatemala, July 12-18. Pray for safe travels, good health, and unity as they serve. Ask God to use them to share Christ's love with the children and staff and to make a lasting impact through their ministry.

3. Pray that those who are ready to take the next step in their faith through baptism would be prompted to sign up and publicly declare their commitment to Christ.

4. Pray that God would bring the right people to fill our open positions and provide wisdom and discernment throughout the hiring process.

5. Pray that God would continue to provide for our church and that hearts would be generous as we faithfully give and support His work.

6. Pray for our Celebrate Recovery ministry, that God would continue to bring healing, hope, and freedom to those who attend and that lives would be transformed through Christ.
