Here at County Line we believe in the importance of fasting. That is why on the first Monday of every month we Fast and Pray over selected topics.

God wants us to learn dependence upon Him. He has also chosen to act through the prayers of His people. Fasting is a spiritual discipline that heightens our feeling of dependence upon God. When we feel the temptation to indulge from whatever it is we are fasting from, it reminds us to go to prayer rather than satisfying our own desires. Fasting is a wonderful way to experience true dependence upon God and His wisdom and strength.

September Topics:

1. Pray that the Guys Night and the Women's Bingo Night events produce new friendships, mentor connections, small group opportunities, salvations, and fun memories.
2. Pray the details come together well for the newly formed Family Tour and that families are impacted, connected, and equipped to have the families God intends.
3. Pray God uses the Faith and Friends ministry kickoff event to encourage and impact families with special needs family members. 
4. Pray God would use the September sermon series, Pray Like This, to enhance the prayer lives of County Liners, and we see His Spirit move in amazing ways.
5. Pray details come together well for our church-wide "For the One" campaign in October. Also, pray that every County Liner joins a group, and it leads to people being impacted for Him.
